This is a great little park that I think is a hidden gem. It has a bit of graffiti but it generally clean, easy to park, plenty of space for adults to sit, and it is small enough to be easy to watch the kids while being varied enough for the kids. There is rarely anyone else there. There is a footpath around the park if your child wanted to ride their bike on that path.
It is surrounded by trees and next to a large water reservoir, so while it isn’t always in the shade it is quite cool even on a hot day. There are two slides, two cargo nets, two slides and a merry-go-round. There are big sandstone blocks around part of the park so there is always somewhere for the adults to sit. It is on Glebe Place in Kingswood, but in the very pointy top part of Kingswood that most people in Penrith would probably think was Cambridge Park.
