This is an indoor play centre, but it is definitely only for younger kids (6 years and younger). There are two play sections, one for 3-6 year olds, and one for 1-4 year olds. There are some seats for parents, most importantly the whole thing is air conditioned, and all the floor is padded so getting stuck sitting on the floor is not that bad.
It is really hit and miss, sometimes I turn up and there are a ton of kids who have been left there without parents and are running wild, sometimes I turn up and it is just a lovely little play area. If you turn up and it is wild you can always walk across to Bunnings. Also the family bathroom in the Homemaker Centre is really lovely, there are a few play things on the walls in there, when I go in there I struggle to get my kids back out.
This first set of photos is for the older kids area, for 3 to 6 year olds. My Miss 7 was able to play in there, and she is tall for her age, but the issue with this place remains that it is too small for more than a handful of kids.
The next set of photos (below) are for the area for younger children. Again my older ones have gone in here, it isn’t that they don’t fit, it is about having spaces for the correct age groups. The two play areas have, between them -
Climbing
Indoors
Seats for adults
Slides
Toilets
Wall play
This play area is located inside of the Penrith Homemaker Centre. It is near a couple of cafes, and obviously, a number of shops. There is an undercover parking area, so in poor weather you could actually get everyone from the car to the Centre without getting wet.
