Twickenham Avenue, Cambridge Park

I discovered this park by accident, because it is not on Google or the Council’s list (which you can find here). It isn’t a big park, and it is clearly popular with the locals, but it is still a good one. There is sunshade, an undercover picnic table, two slides, swings, plenty of additional seating for adults, and two climbing or cargo nets. The merry go round is very popular, your children will need to be able to share.

This park stretches from Twickenham Avenue to William Street in Cambridge Park, but there is a lot more traffic on the William Street side so it is best to park on the Twickenham side. There are some local cats that like to come and investigate, maybe that works for your kids, maybe it doesn’t. I have no idea if they want to be patted as my children are terrified of furry animals (and, in their defence, allergic).

It is surrounded by trees and on a decent sized reserve, I get the feeling it wouldn’t be hot even in summer. Overall a good little park, we will be back.

Where is it?

According to Google this is located at 29A Twickenham Avenue, but it is between Twickenham Avenue and William Street in Cambridge Park in New South Wales.
