We finally checked out Clementine Cafe in Caddens, a bit hard to get to as a working Mum as they are only open Monday to Friday, 7am til 2pm. Though I now understand why, I knew that they were booking parties on Saturdays, they are part of Penrith Baptist Church so they are using the building on the weekends.
This is a great cafe for a play with the kids, though definitely for younger kids (maximum Year 2, but perhaps younger). The food was good though, there are a few cheap and cheerful options for the kids on the kids menu, and the bathrooms are part of the church building so they are clean and well stocked with things including spare nappies and sanitary items.
There is an indoor play area, an outdoor play area, and some colouring in for the kids. They have water and cups there for people to take, plenty of high chairs, and outdoor seating if you want to sit out the front with your furry friend. A good cafe, we will be back during school holidays.
On the day that we visited the cafe it was very windy, but sitting outside was still fine. There is a small parking lot, but also there is plenty of parking on the street.
