Roger Nethercote Park is on Morello Terrace in Caddens, quite close to Clementines Cafe and the Penrith Baptist Church. It has recently been given a shade cloth and it is at the top of a hill, so it is nice even on a hot day. The views are also relaxing. There are plenty of places for a parent to perch. There is a climbing frame and some items for younger children, so they have made a decent effort to appeal to a broader age range. Many parts of the park are sort of metal obstacle/climbing frames for older kids, but there are plenty of options that Miss 5 enjoyed while she was there with me.
There is a BBQ but no tables to eat at, which is weird, perhaps tables are coming.
The park includes -
Climbing frame
Hammock and smaller items for younger children
Seats for adults
See saw
Shade cloth
